I can’t wait to see what they get up to in Society of Psychopaths.This week we are joined by the awesome J.T Geissinger to chat about her latest release and viral sensation - Pen Pal. As per usual with these sisters, I was thrown off a cliff with no parachute and left longing for my psychos one more time. It took me almost 10 days to finish this big boy of a book and I am craving more already. The perfect blend for these three psychos and I couldn’t ask for anything more. The relationship between the three characters is hilarious, cruel, and insane. He’s in the darkness for so long that Brooklyn offers him light and proves that not all things are bad. He’s smart and has a plan when he goes about his job, but he’s been locked away for so long that his rage is the only thing keeping him going. Mateo is an interesting character because he’s not as certifiable as the others. He has rage and hatred for most things, but his spider comes in and shakes that all up. He was someone I wanted to know more about from the moment he came on the page and this book did not disappoint. He takes his job somewhat seriously and loves every minute of being a killer. He hasn’t had an easy life either with his wife dying and being a part of a family he despises. She is a one-of-a-kind heroine and I can’t wait to see where she goes next. She enjoys the little things because she came from nothing. She takes no shit and loves every second of it.
Finding out about her past wasn’t pretty or easy, but it was what gave way to the beautiful psychopath. She has had a hard life full of heartbreaking twists and turns. What I didn’t expect was the insanity of all three characters.īrooklyn is a badass mother trucker and I’m pretty sure I’m in love with her. I loved Niall as soon as he came across the page in the Brutal Boys of Everlake Prep series and I knew he was insane and I couldn’t wait for his book.
